School friends Adam Carnell and James Kinsella founded instantprint after struggling to buy promotional print for night club events while they studied at University. Despite warnings over entering a “dying” industry, the two graduates saw a massive demand from small businesses who wanted to buy affordable print online.
Specialising in 24-hour dispatch, free design templates and affordable products means the business has gone from strength to strength. In the past two years, instantprint featured in the Virgin Sunday Times Fast Track 100 twice and has added over 150 staff members to the 270-strong production facility in South Yorkshire.
This year, instantprint commissioned a survey into the habits of small business owners to find out how they could help them grow beyond print. From this research, instantprint discovered that small businesses spend a lot of time dealing with red tape and researching ways to market themselves locally. Instantprint created The Ultimate Local Marketing Guide and More Time For Business to assist small business owners in overcoming these issues.
